Every yard is different, so we don’t publish a price grid. The four factors below are what move the number, and whatever they add up to for your property, you’ll have the quote in hand before any work begins.
Property size and layout
More boundary means more wire and more installation time. A quarter-acre subdivision loop and a five-acre wooded perimeter are different projects. That said, acreage is exactly where buried wire beats physical fencing on cost by the widest margin.
Number of dogs
Each dog wears their own receiver collar with their own settings, so additional dogs add equipment and training time. Adding a dog later is straightforward too.
Driveway and hardscape crossings
Paved driveways, sidewalks, and patios are routine, since the wire runs through expansion joints or clean, sealed saw cuts. Each crossing still adds work, though.
Exclusion zones and complex layouts
Keeping the pool deck, garden beds, or play areas off-limits inside the main boundary takes extra wire and design time. It's worth doing, and you'll see it itemized in the quote.
