What this site is for
This website describes the underground dog-fence installation, repair, training, and dog-door installation services we offer in Richmond & Central Virginia. The content is general information, not a promise about any specific dog or property. Suitability depends on your dog and your yard, and we evaluate both before recommending a system.
Estimates and pricing
Estimates provided through this site, by phone, or by text are guidance, not binding quotes. Complete installations start at $1,399; the final number depends on your property and is confirmed with you before any work begins. Details of any installation, repair, or warranty are set out in the paperwork for that job, not by this website. See also the warranty page and financing page.
The one-year dog containment guarantee
Our one-year dog containment guarantee is a training-support commitment: for one year after installation, if you are having trouble getting your dog reliable on the boundary, we come out and provide that training at no charge. It is not a warranty on equipment, not a refund or money-back promise, and not a promise that any dog will stay inside the boundary, which depends on the training, on the collar being worn and working, and on the dog. Trademarks
Brand names such as Invisible Fence®, Dog Guard®, Pet Stop®, PetSafe®, and SportDOG® appear on this site only to describe the systems we can repair or service. DogWatch® appears in both roles: it is the brand we install as an authorized dealer, and one of the brands we repair. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Superior Dog Fence is an independent, locally owned company and an authorized DogWatch® dealer: DogWatch equipment is the system we install, and it is also one of the brands we repair. Superior Dog Fence is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Invisible Fence®, Dog Guard®, Pet Stop®, PetSafe® or SportDOG®, which are named only to describe equipment we repair and compare.
