The problem
An older buried system stops working and the household that installed it years ago no longer has a dealer to call. Usually the wire has been cut by a post, an aeration tine or a contractor's spade, and the symptom is a transmitter alarming or a collar that never reacts.
The boundary design
We service systems whoever put them in, including Invisible Fence® brand installations. The wire and the splices are universal; it is the collars and transmitters that are made by the original manufacturer, and we will say so when a part has to come from them rather than from us.
Training
A dog that was trained years ago has usually learned that the boundary stopped meaning anything. Bringing the system back up is a retraining job as much as a repair, and it starts at a low setting the same way a new install does.
Installation
Locate the break, splice it, test the loop, then check the transmitter and the collar separately rather than assuming the wire was the whole story.
The result
A working loop, a diagnosis of anything else that had failed, and a straight answer where a part is only available through the original brand. Repair work carries the same 30-day warranty.
